Hey Muse Eek, Thanks for putting out Practice Perfect Applied Ear Training Volume One and Volume Ten. I’m in music school majoring in Film Scoring so these two volumes that deal with movie score and contemporary orchestration are really useful! U. Vanderlindi
I a firm believer in the ear training method introduced by Muse Eek. I’ve been at it for about six months and really am seeing a difference thinking in a key rather than the interval method. I’ve just about through the Ear Training One Note Complete course. I’ve started tackling these Applied Ear Training series and I’ve seen massive improvement in only a few weeks. This stuff really works! N. Oberlin
I emailed Mr. Arnold because of my concerns about applying his ear training to real music. He got right back to me and explained that we all learn in one “context” at a time. So if you are just doing one aspect of ear training or only doing it in one way you are in fools paradise. I started right in with these Applied Ear Training courses and finding some of them to be easy and others very hard. Mr. Arnold said I should expect this because each student has different backgrounds and that will effect your progress with ear training and with these Applied Ear Training Courses. H. Samuels
Man these new courses are kicking my behind. I’ve always slacked off on my singing and now I can see if you can sing the notes when prompted you REALLY know the key center which in turn greatly helps with the ear training process R. Chi
