Question: Ear Training One Note Complete

Q: I recently purchased your Ear Training One Note Complete and was wondering if it would be beneficial to go back and re-listen to tracks I’ve gotten wrong in order to help ‘correct’ the ear. Or would this do more harm than good?

A: Good question! Yes it is OK to go back and re-listen multiple times to the same exercise to engrain the sound into your ear. This is actually what happens when you work on the singing in the Fanatic’s Guide to Ear Training and Sight Singing Book which I recommend as a companion book to the listening CD.

It is also recommended that you read Bruce Arnold’s Blog at his artist site. It contains more discussion of the musical topics found in these FAQs as well as other subjects of interest. You will also find the “Music Education Genealogy Chart” located here which shows you the historic significance of the music education products found on the Muse Eek Publishing Company Website.
