Rhythm is the backbone of music the world over, but unless you are studying percussion, it can be one of the most neglected areas of music education. Oddly enough, people are frequently unaware that they have rhythm problems. Unless another musician or a teacher tells them, it’s unlikely they will ever know.

Any and all of these problems can be symptoms of poor rhythmic skills. These can cause you not to perform well, get lost when playing music and not be connected in a meaningful way to the music you are listening to or playing.
